Music is an integral part of SDSMT. Our students develop creative abilities while working towards their science or engineering majors. Our music ensembles perform at national and international conferences, competitions, and festivals. Our faculty are known for their contributions to the music profession. Music Activities welcomes the 2011-2012 academic year as they take occupancy of the former Old Gymnasium, signaling the first time that music has had a unique home on the campus.
