Music at SDSMT provides a place for you to develop creative and artistic abilities while earning graduation credits towards a science or engineering major. SDSMT music ensembles perform nationally and internationally at professional music conferences, music competitions, festivals, and other prestigious venues. Music faculty are respected and well-known for their contributions to the music profession, including ChoralNet, the American Choral Directors Association, South Dakota Bandmasters Association, Black Hills Symphony Orchestra, and more.
