Music Courses and Credit Options

As part of the South Dakota state university system, most SDSMT music course numbers and titles are part of the system common course format. So, courses from other state universities transfer easily. Even so, some courses are unique to SDSMT.  Click the individual courses for more information.

MUAP (Applied Music)

MUEN (Music Ensemble)

 

 

Brass ChoirMusic ensemble courses allow students to receive credit for singing or playing in a group instructional setting. Non-credit allows students to enroll at no cost.

 

MUS (Other Music)

Feiszli Teaching Seminar Class

 

MUS courses include traditional lecture courses as well as MUS217 and 317 - hybrid courses unique to SDSMT that combine performance and research.
