Master Chorale is an auditioned group, all members must be in the Concert Choir. The Chorale performs everything from Gregorian chant to pop acappella arrangements. Master Chorale makes frequent appearances across the Midwest at professional music conferences, alumni chapter events, and schools. They have sung in in Vienna, Salzburg, Venice, Lucerne, and many other European cities. Some prestigious venues include the Music Educators National Conference (1986) in Anaheim, California; the Washington National Cathedral (1991) in Washington, D.C.; the Lindenholzhausen Harmonie-Festival (1993) in Germany; and the Association of Irish Musical Societies choral competition (2006) in New Ross, Ireland, where they took first place in the Open Competition.
